Bill Broeber

Bill Groeber, CPA

Bill Groeber is a 1967 graduate of The Ohio State University. He taught math at Northeastern High School for 2 years and then went to work for a local firm in 1969 that morphed into what we now know as Bennett, Groeber, Mullen & Feltner Co., CPA’s.

Bill sees his clients as friends and is known to call them his sheep and he the shepherd. He enjoys solving accounting puzzles and working with his clients to ensure their accounting records are correct and providing solid information from which they can make important business decisions.

Bill has been married to his beloved wife Carol since 1966. They have 4 children and many grandchildren. Bill enjoys time with his grandchildren and is their biggest fan at sporting events. Bill and Carol are active at St. Bernard Church and have enjoyed years of community work in and around Springfield. Bill loves to watch OSU football, walking, golfing and traveling.

Matt Mullen, CPA

Matt Mullen was born and raised in Springfield. He graduated from Catholic Central High School in 1990 and from Miami University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy in 1994 and a Master’s in Accountancy in 1995. As a CPA, he worked at Deloitte and Touche in Dayton from 1995-2000. Since 2000, he has been a partner with Bennett, Groeber, Mullen and Feltner Co.

He has worked with many local boards since moving back to Springfield. Most recently, he has been involved with the boards of: Big Brothers Big Sisters, Springfield Country Club, the Small Business Development Center and Catholic Central School.

He has been married to his wife Susan for over 20 years and has two children; Mallory and Ryan. He has coached numerous youth sports and taught through the Junior Achievement program at numerous classes at Catholic Central.

Matt is a member of the AICPA and Ohio Society of CPAs.


Carter Feltner

Carter Feltner, CPA

Carter has been with BGMF since 2002. Carter started at Deloitte right out of Wright State University in 1975. Carter serves both individual and business clients in a variety of industries providing tax preparation and planning, financial statement reporting and consulting. Carter has sat on numerous boards over his tenure in Springfield including the YMCA, Boy Scouts, American Heart Association and OIC of Clark County.

Carter has been married to his beloved Nancy for over 30 years now and enjoys time with her, time with family, traveling and reading. Carter grew up in Clark County and graduated from Greenon High School.

Carter is a member of the AICPA and Ohio Society of CPAs.


Troy Lowe

Troy Lowe, CPA

Troy Lowe has been at BGMF since 2014. Prior to joining BGMF, he spent 14 years with a large regional accounting firm. He works with a variety of clients including individuals, small and medium sized businesses, and non-profits. He specializes in accounting, general business consulting, and tax for individuals, businesses and farmers. Troy graduated from Wright State University in 1995 and has been a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Ohio since 1997. Troy enjoys working with business owners to find tax saving solutions and researching the details and nuances of tax law.

Troy retired from the Army reserves after serving for 24 years. He is a veteran of both the First Gulf War and the Iraq War.

Troy is married to Julie and has two children; Alli and Jake. They enjoy spending time together at horse shows where Alli competes and watching movies together. They attend Amity Baptist church. In his free-time, Troy can be found doing building projects around the house, playing on the family recreational softball team and hunting with his son.

Joe Collinsworth

Joe Collinsworth, CPA

Joe has over a decade of experience in the accounting and finance world. The majority of those years have been spent in public accounting working with both small and regional firms. During that time Joe focused in multiple areas of the tax and accounting functions including consulting, assurance services, business and tax strategy & compliance. Joe also spent 2 years at International Paper in their accounting department serving two divisions and managing a variety of responsibilities. Joe carries bachelor’s degrees in finance and accounting from Wright State University and holds a CPA license in Ohio. Prior to becoming a CPA, Joe worked in sales, marketing and business development.

Joe gives back to the community through church, coaching martial arts, sits on two non-profit boards, and is involved with Leadership Clark County and the Springfield Chamber of Commerce.

Joe lives in Clark County with his wife Tonya and beautiful children Garrett and Rhiannon. When he's not helping clients achieve the results they desire, you can find him spending time with his family, rooting for the Bengals and Buckeyes, traveling, touring historical places, hiking, fishing, golfing, training or reading. Joe grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Christiann Arimany

Christiann Arimany, CPA

Christiann has over a decade of experience in tax preparation, business accounting, financial analysis and payroll. She graduated from John Brown University, Siloam Springs, AR, with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant certified in Virginia and Ohio.

Christiann is an active member and volunteer in her church and volunteers as a mentor through the Kid's Hope program. She is a graduate of Leadership Clark County.

Christiann is a mother of 3: Blessing, Max and Joaquinn. The kids keep her busy with soccer games, cross country and swim meets and general shenanigans. She enjoys running, reading, traveling, relaxing with friends and working on home projects when given the opportunity.

Christiann was born and raised in Springfield, Ohio, spent one year following High School teaching English in Mexico, moved then to Arkansas for college, interned in Norfolk, Virginia for a year, moved to Philadelphia for a couple years, Guatemala City for 3 years, Atlanta for 1 and back to Springfield. Through all these moves, Christiann has picked up a little Spanish as well as life-long friends around the globe. She loves this community and is happy to be home.

Amy Cartwright

Amy Cartwright

Amy has been an invaluable office manager with the Company for over 30 years. Amy will tell you we are more like a family here since we spend more time with each other than our own family during busy season. Amy has stated this has been a wonderful Company to work for and says she can’t imagine ever working anywhere else. Amy enjoys her job and looks forward to seeing the clients come into the office and talking with them each year. When you come to the office Amy will treat you like family and try to make it as painless as possible.

Amy is married for over 20 years to Doug with a son, Doug Jr. and daughter-in-law, Victoria and spends a lot of time with her therapy dog, Colby and her other Mini Goldendoodle, Teddie. Amy takes Colby (a therapy dog with Best Friends Pet Assisted Therapy) to visit schools where the kids will read to Colby and has loved doing this for many years. Together, they also enjoy visiting nursing homes and getting involved in other activities in the community.

Amy also enjoys having OSU football parties at their home, shopping, and gardening in her downtime.


Julie Smith

Julie Smith

Julie Smith has been with the BGMF for over a decade. She specializes in payroll reporting and tax return preparation. Her leading role with the company is preparing and reviewing income tax returns for individuals, corporations, trusts, and partnerships. In addition, Julie provides assistance to clients in managing their Quickbooks and is one of our expert advisors in this area. She also processes monthly payroll tax deposits for federal, state, school district, & local as well as monthly sales tax returns for many of the firm’s clients. Julie always provides excellent customer service.

Julie was born and raised here in Springfield. Julie holds an Associate’s Degree in Accounting Technology from Clark State Community College and is a 1997 graduate of Shawnee High School. She has been married for four years to her awesome husband, Zach. She has a step-daughter, Autumn, and three fur babies Rosie, Max, and Buzzy. Julie is an avid football fan, Go Browns!, and belongs to the local VFW post 1031. Julie enjoys spending time with family and friends.


Karen Britton

Karen Britton

After working in the accounting departments for 40 years with RiverSong Church, Social Security Administration, and Wright-Patterson AFB, Karen retired from Wright-Patt as a Budget Analyst with the 445 Airlift Wing in 2014. She came to BGMF in January 2017, and enjoys being part of a company with high standards of excellence. Karen has provided valuable support to many areas of the team.

Karen Britton, born and raised in Springfield, OH has been happily married to Jim Britton for 42+ years. Karen is the mother of two amazing children, Jimmy of Naples, FL and Christiann of Springfield, OH. The love of her life is spending time with her six awesome grandchildren.

Karen loves Springfield, and wants to do her part to help make it a better place. She does this by serving at RiverSong Church, Pregnancy Resource Clinic, and Celebrating Recovery House. Oh, and she loves chocolate and shopping!


Jill McGregor

Jill McGregor

Jill has over a decade of business and consulting experience, spending the last 5 years at BGMF. She specializes in assisting clients with creating new or updating existing book keeping and accounting policies and procedures. She is also involved in migrating clients to various book keeping and accounting software such as QuickBooks and QuickBooks online. She has a previous consulting experience in training and development and can assist our clients in their accounting training needs. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Business Administration at Benedictine University in Lisle, IL.

Jill has been married to her husband Scott since 2001. They have two children, Kelsey and Evan. Jill and her family love to travel but when they are at home, they love being outside either working in the yard on projects, gardening or being on the water, boating, skiing, or wakeboarding.


Kiersten Bender

Kiersten Bender

Kiersten has three years of accounting experience preparing financial statements and completing audits primarily for not-for-profit entities, manufacturing businesses, and 401(k)s. Before coming to BGMF in 2023, Kiersten gained her experience at a regional firm in Columbus, Ohio as an audit senior.

Kiersten was born and raised in Springfield and graduated from Kenton Ridge Highschool in 2016. She then went to Ohio Wesleyan University, where she graduated in 2020 with two bachelor's degrees in accounting and dance. While in college, she studied abroad in Ireland for a semester where she focused on organizational behavior, cultural impact on businesses, and learned a bit of the Old Irish writing and dance styles.

When she is not at work, Kiersten gets involved in the community and pursues activities that she is passionate about. These activities include choreographing for the dance team, helping with the youth and children's church and volunteering at RiverSong Church, being the advisor to the Vice-President of Finance for the Alpha Rho chapter of Delta Zeta, and going on missions, traveling the world to learn more about other cultures and help in any way that she can.


Sarah Burns

Sarah Burns

Sarah has experience in banking, finance, bookkeeping, tax, and accounting. She graduated from Urbana University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 2015. She’s aspiring to sit for the CPA exam in the near future.

Sarah is an active member of her church and is raising two sweet boys, Liam and Levi with her husband Adam.

Sarah was born and raised in Springfield in a family of business owners, so she understands the challenges and advantages of owning a business and incorporates that in her client services. In her spare time, she likes to vacation with family and friends, golf, root on the Buckeyes and play on Snapchat #millennials.
